Kansas, Nebraska and N W Missouri Providers-Paper Remittance Deadline

Problem:

Infinedi has been informed there are many providers that have stopped receiving their paper remit and we have been told by Medicare to follow the instructions listed below in order to deactivate the electronic remits.

Provider Action:

Contact Medicare’s Interactive Voice Response (IVR) at 877-567-7270, choose selection: “I’ve got a question”, then choose “Representative” Give the representative your Billing Provider Number, Trading Partner number 0005333, and ask for a “Paper Remit Waiver” Tell them you do not want to be set up for ERA’s (Electronic Remittance Advice” This will de-activate your ERA enrollment status and extend your paper remittance for a period of time.
