Mail Handlers Benefit Plan Name Change

Effective 8/26/09, Coventry Health Care is instituting a name change related to electronic claims serviced under Payer ID 62413 in order to reflect the multiple health plans that share this Payer ID. Coventry is streamlining front end EDI claim submissions by reducing the number of separate Payer ID’s. The following plans affected for this name change are:

• Mail Handlers Benefit Plan
• Foreign Service Benefit Plan
• Rural Carrier Benefit Plan
• NRLCA Staff Plan
• Contract Health Insurance Plan
• AFSPA Staff Plan
• Combined Government Health Plan
• Association Benefit Plan.

Provider Action:

Before submitting claims to Infinedi for any of the health plans listed above, please make sure you have added Payer ID 62413 following the payer name in your practice management system in order to route your claims correctly.
