Processing Error on Tricare Claims

Tricare claims received and processed by Infinedi on 06/23/09, 06/24/09 may have rejected in error due to an internal processing issue. This caused the claim to drop to paper (even if you were enrolled to send Tricare electronically) and prompted the following error message on your batch/audit report:

Error: South Carolina Payer Requirement: Claim cannot be mailed

Provider Action:

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

  • If you are already enrolled to send electronically to this payer, please resubmit any impacted claims as you received this error due to a processing issue.
  • If you are not enrolled to send electronically to this payer, contact our Client Implementation Department at 800-688-8087 and request an agreement to file Tricare electronically as you will need payer approval to submit claims. ( See South Carolina Paper Claims alert dated 6/9/09)
