Health Services Management (HSM) Claims Require Network Code - Payer ID HSM01

HSM claims require a network code in block 11c on your CMS-1500. Claims filed on or after 05/14/09 will be rejected by Infinedi, LLC if block 11c is blank or is populated with payer name. This will allow you to edit and resubmit your claim with the appropriate network code before it is transmitted to the payer.

Please ensure that claims submitted to Infinedi, LLC contain a network code in block 11c. If Infinedi, LLC rejects your claim for a network code, you may refer to the list of network codes provided above. (List may not be complete.) You may edit/resubmit your claim either online via our web portal or resubmit claim to Infinedi, LLC.

Claims rejections that pre-date this edit may have appeared on your THIN Qreports. Those claims will need to be corrected and resubmitted also.
