Mutual Assurance-Payer ID 37256 Front-end Claims Processing Issues

Mutual Assurance has had a front-end processing issue for some time which is causing inconsistent acceptance and/or processing of electronically filed claims. Therefore, Mutual Assurance claims submitted to Infinedi, LLC on or after 05/06/09 will no longer go electronically to the payer. Claims submitted for this payer will be printed to PAPER and mailed to the payer and a paper claim charge for each claim submitted will appear on your monthly invoice. To avoid a paper claim charge on your monthly invoice for claims filed for this payer, you may print and mail the claims from your office.

Infinedi LLC will continue to monitor this situation and will alert you when we can resume electronic processing of claims for this payer.

Provider Action:

If you wish to print and mail the claims from your office, please make the appropriate changes in your practice management system. As always, monitor your audit report to make sure none of your Mutual Assurance claims have been submitted to Infinedi, LLC inadvertently. If you want Infinedi to print and send the claims, no additional action is required on your end.
