“No Show Appointment”
Tracking CPT Code 99499

Oklahoma Health Care Authority (OHCA) issued a notice on 04/16/09 introducing a program that will track “No Show Appointments”. Infinedi was informed by OHCA that claims with CPT code 99499 must include one unit and the amount of the visit that would have been charged. No diagnosis code is required on the claim.

Provider Action:

Please complete your claims according to instruction in OHCA provider notice. PROVIDERS MUST SEND CLAIMS TO OHCA ON PAPER OR DDE (DIRECT DATA ENTRY) ON OHCA SECURE SITE. Providers can set up secure site account login by contacting OHCA. Claims will not make it through Infinedi edits without a diagnosis on the claim.
