RI Medicare Part B Conversion from Pinnacle to NHIC

Infinedi LLC has successfully passed testing for the conversion of RI Part B Medicare from Pinnacle to NHIC on 5/1/09. RI Part B providers will experience a “dark day” on Friday 5/1/09.

A “dark day” is a business day during the cut over period when the Medicare claim processing system is not available for normal business operations. On this “dark day” claim information cannot be provided, nor will claims be processed. Since the “dark day” affects both internal and external users, the interactive voice response (IVR) system will not be available. The system is expected to be up and running as normal business on 5/4/09.
