Tricare claims submitted with a CPT code ending with a “T” are being interpreted by the payer’s processing system as anesthesia codes and are rejecting with the following error message:

INVALID SERVICE FACILITY LOCATION NPI 2310D NM1NM108

The payer has advised that claims should be printed to paper and mailed until the problem can be resolved.

Provider Action:

If you are receiving the error message above, print and mail rejected claims from your office. There will be a notification on the payer’s website when this is corrected.
