Fiserv Health is one of the largest third-party administrators in the country, with operations offices located in Columbus, Dayton, and Youngstown, Ohio; Duncan and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Tampa, Florida; Bothell, Washington; and Chicago, Illinois. Recently, Fiserv Health was acquired by United Healthcare and because of that they will take on a new name and look. Their new name is UMR, however the Fiserv logo will remain on all patient ID cards until the UMR has converted all logos and communications. Along with their growth they now have four different Payer ID numbers and it can sometimes be confusing as to where to send the claims electronically. If the payer name on your claim is just Fiserv it makes it very hard for Infinedi LLC to determine how to route your claim. In order to route claims correctly we are requesting your help by placing the electronic Payer ID Number in the payer name. Below we have listed the four different Payer ID Numbers along with variations of the Payer Name to use to ensure your claims are routed correctly.

Provider Action:

Change Payer Name in your Practice Management System to include the Payer ID Number from your patient’s insurance card.
