Nevada Medicare Part B Conversion from Noridian to Palmetto

Infinedi LLC has successfully passed testing for the conversion of Nevada Medicare Part B from Noridian to Palmetto. Effective 8/4/08 Infinedi LLC will submit production claims to Palmetto Medicare Services. Your claims transmitted on 7/31/08 and 8/1/08 will be held until 8/4/08 due to payer mandated “Dark Days”.

A “Dark Day” is defined as a day in which Medicare online systems would not be available for either external or internal use. System dark days normally impact the availability of EDI processing, the Customer Service Contact Center and the Interactive Voice Response system.

Provider Action:

THE ADDRESS CHANGE IS EFFECTIVE 7/31/08
Please change the payer name and address in your Practice Management System to:

FAILURE TO CHANGE THE PAYER NAME IN YOUR SYSTEM ON THE INSTRUCTED DATE MAY RESULT IN REJECTED CLAIMS AFTER 7/31/08
