AETNA NPI Only

Infinedi has been notified that AETNA has started the transition to NPI only for all electronic claims. Beginning April 28, 2008, we will transmit NPI only on all outbound electronic claims for this payer.

Provider Action:

Monitor your Q- Reports for any NPI discrepancy errors. If you do receive the discrepancy errors, please verify with Aetna that you have registered your NPI (s) correctly.
