FIRST HEALTH NAME CHANGE

Effective January 1, 2007 what is currently known as First Health, Payer ID 87043 will now be known as Coventry Health Care National Network. These are the claims that First Health Group pays directly. That Payer ID 87043 will remain, only the name will change. There will be no changes for the Mail Handlers name.

Provider Action:

To ensure your claims are routed correctly we ask that you send the Electronic Payer ID in front of the carrier name. (See example listed below)
