PA BC/BS Processing Issue

Infinedi has been informed that claims from 06/27/2011 to present may have rejected with the following message:

 

BILLING PROVIDER TAX ID IS NOT VALID

 

This reject affects the following plans:

 

·         2413 PA Blue Shield

·         2781 Independence Blue Cross Personal Choice

·         7417 PA Independence Keystone Health Plan East

 

It has been determined this issue may still be occurring.  Infinedi will post an update once this is resolved and let you know if claims are being re-processed by payer or if claims need to be resubmitted.

 

Provider Action:

Please do not resubmit rejected claims as this could result in more rejections from the payer.
