Virginia Medicaid- Fiscal Agent Conversion from FHSC to ACS on 06/28/10- CPID 1472

The Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) will be transitioning from Fiscal Agent First Health Services Corporation (FHSC) to ACS State Healthcare for CPID 1472 Virginia Medicaid.  The current Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) will remain unchanged. DMAS expects minimal interruptions.

 

Transition Timeline:                                         

             

·         06/24/2010—Last day FHSC will process claims.  Files received by FHSC by 5:00PM ET will be processed normally.

 

·         06/25/2010--ACS will begin accepting claims for processing.

 

·         06/28/2010--ACS will begin processing Virginia Medicaid claims.

 

·         06/28/2010--The last remittance files from FHSC will be available.

 

·         07/09/2010—Remittances released for any claims held by ACS for claims received after 06/24/2010.

Provider Action:

Claims process for Virginia Medicaid will remain unchanged at Infinedi.  Please monitor your Epayer 2 reports to make sure your claims are processing normally and in accordance with the Fiscal Agent’s timeline.  As always, you may submit your claims 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
